The Lesjofors Group, is increasing its global logistics network with the opening of a purpose-built distribution and sales centre for its standard stock range, enabling faster deliveries across Europe.

It’s not every day that we’re able to write a headline such as this but having recently supplied gas springs to the Swedish Sea Rescue Society, it felt appropriate.

Our group’s high ambitions within sustainability show result. We are advancing in a Sustainable Index among leading companies in Sweden and prepare for a climb in the CDP ranking after committing to the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi).

From France to America, Canada to Europe, the first quarter of 2024 will see Lesjӧfors, and its subsidiaries, market every product across multiple sectors at several industry leading exhibitions across the globe.

One of Lesjöfors’ focus areas is Sustainable Innovations. To reduce environmental impact, a project has been initiated that focuses on life cycle analyses and eco-design which will be increasingly important in the future.

The Lesjӧfors Group, world-leaders in spring and pressing manufacture, has seen an increase in demand for its large diameter spring product range and consequently has invested over one million euros in the purchase of an additional hot coiling line.

Lesjöfors has today divested 100 per cent of the shares in Stumpp & Schüle GmbH and its Slovakian subsidiary Stumpp & Schüle s.r.o..

Despite a declining general economy, our group is doing well thanks to our broad customer base across many different sectors. Our acquisitions have made us even stronger, and we have put extra focus on some growth areas. We have also elevated our sustainability efforts with new ambitious commitments.

The tension spring has historically always been the worldwide spring hero of garage doors. Open an old garage door anywhere and you’ll find a tension spring. However, advance developments in the demanding specialist insulated garage door sector had led to an evolution in spring type, with the torsion spring being substituted partially by the tension spring.

It is estimated that 131.8 million people use wheelchairs, that’s 1.85% of the world’s population. The number of individuals with mobility access issues is increasing and Feal Ramps, with their innovative and sustainable ramp systems, are delivering accessibility solutions all over the world and their iRV loading ramp, features traction gas springs supplied by Lesjӧfors.

The Lesjӧfors Group, in a first for the spring manufacturing industry, has committed to drive ambitious climate action across its global organisation by signing up to the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi), in line with the Paris Agreement.

Lesjöfors China is granted a prestigious award from their customer ElringKlinger. As Global Supplier of the Year, Lesjöfors’ scoring is the highest any supplier has ever received. A close cooperation within our Group has paved the path to this award.
