Successful candidates for this position will:
- Inspect and test materials, products, and equipment to ensure they meet demanding quality standards for supply into the medical device industry.
- Record data from quality control tests and prepare reports on findings.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and correct quality issues efficiently, prevent scrap, and ensure 100% quality delivered to our customers.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, including inspection checklists and testing protocols for the medical production segment.
- Perform routine audits of manufacturing processes and procedures to identify potential quality improvements.
- Provide training and support to production personnel on quality control processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments such as engineering and supply chain to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
- Program and operate measurement and testing equipment to assess product dimensions, tolerances, and performance.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following company policies and procedures.
- Continuously improve knowledge and skills through training and education to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Successful candidates for this position will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in a quality department of a manufacturing environment,
Or, High school diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in the quality department of a manufacturing environment. - ISO 9001 knowledge and experience required / ISO 13485 preferred
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
- Ability to study and analyze data through SPC
- Ability to work closely with engineers and production personnel to resolve problems.
- Effective communication and strong computer skills.
- A self-starter able to prioritize tasks, follow instruction and work with minimal supervision.
- A strong team player able to perform well in a total quality environment
- Ability to travel (5%) for training, external audits, or other quality improvement activities
Job Compensation
- The Annual salary is $55-75KUSD per year.
