Types of Standard Stock Springs
Stainless Steel Gas Springs
Standard or specially designed. Gas springs are sealed cylinders that use compressed gas to provide controlled force, motion, and damping in lifting, positioning, and support applications.
Torsion Springs
Helical torsion springs in wire dimensions from 0.04 – 5mm. Torsion springs provide torque for rotational movement, featuring a helical coil and custom-designed legs to integrate seamlessly with application abutments.
Extension Springs
Wire diameter 0.03 – 26mm for static, quasi static, and dynamic loads. Also known as tension springs, extension springs provide pull force when extended, with adjustable initial tension. Available with a range of end loops, hooks, and attachments.
Compression Springs
Available in wire diameter from 0.2–14 mm, compression springs are the most common type of springs. They’re usually cylindrical and linear but can be conical, barrel-shaped, and tapered, among others.
Wave Springs
Reduces installation length by up to 50% with an outer diameter of 7-250mm. Wave springs are helical, multi-coil springs with a wave-like shape, providing high force in compact spaces by flattening under compression.
Disc Springs
In spring steel or stainless steel, depending on your requirements. Disc springs, or Belleville springs, are conical washers used as high-force compression springs, ideal for applications with limited travel.
