Spring characteristics can be calculated with a high degree of accuracy, using theoretical models. We use in-house developed software for all traditional spring types, and we use specially configured FEM software for complicated geometries. High speed shock loading and transient phenomena are areas which are important in some applications. Lesjöfors has prepared a manual which offers basic information about most common spring types and the theories used.

When technological limits are stretched and new boundaries are formed, products and materials with special properties are often needed. Lesjöfors has amassed a vast amount of experience since the first spring was made in 1852, about spring materials and the demands made on springs in the unique environments where they will be used.

Lesjöfors offers more than just the actual products. We also offer technical competence. We regard this service as being a matter of course.

Quality and environmental work are very important for our activities. For this reason, we are certified under ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001. Lesjöfors has an on-going programme for monitoring and improving our processes, seen from an environmental perspective.

Lesjöfors can now manufacture springs in any quantity, from one-off to any required numbers. Our factories are qualified to make all the types of springs required. This makes us one of the most all-round spring suppliers.

The products are packed according to customer requirements, usually cardboard, and E-pallets, but tape-and-reel, vacuum formed trays, regular plastic bags and sterile bags are also used normally, and also returnable packaging. Paper or plastic bags with a corrosion inhibitor is present often enough to prevent rust during transport.

We have shipping contracts with most major freight chains, so there is usually no problem to arrange a shipment against one''''s own contract.
