Velbert, Germany – The Stihl Group develops, manufactures and distributes power tools for professional forestry and agriculture as well as for garden and landscape maintenance, the construction sector and private garden owners. The company is based in Waiblingen near Stuttgart and achieved a worldwide sales volume of 3.78 billion euros in 2018 with a workforce of 17,122.
Valued suppliers awarded
A very proud MD of Velleuer received the honorable prize at a ceremony in Waiblingen in southern Germany on June 4. The prize was handed out to five suppliers by Dr. Bertram Kandziora, chairman of the STIHL executive board and board member responsible for manufacturing and materials.
Dr Kandziora comments on the award:

Awarded for the fourth time
Velleuer’s core competence lies in the production of stampings, bending parts and round wire forms as well as in tension springs, leg springs and compression springs. With more than 100 employees at the Velbert site outside Düsseldorf, all products are made to the highest level of quality in accordance with modern quality standards. For many years, Velleuer has supplied bending parts and stampings to Stihl.
