In April 2021, the first excavator hit the ground and construction work could begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A BETTER WORKFLOW<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The new facility will have all the expertise and the latest equipment for the manufacture of complex&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesjoforsab.com\/product\/stampings\/\">stampings<\/a>. The existing factory will continue with the manufacture of wire spring products and a well-planned warehouse. There will also be more space for value added processes like assemblage of strip components and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesjoforsab.com\/about-lesjofors\/news\/inline-washing-for-stampings-with-high-purity-requirements\/\">inline washing<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Frank Jahn<\/strong>, MD of Velleuer, comments on the expanding premises:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cBy separating the production of stampings from wire springs and forms we gain not only more space and a better workflow for our employees but also more streamlined logistics which our customers will benefit from when it comes to an even higher service level.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PROCESS AUTOMATION<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The new building will meet the latest requirements in terms of building energy efficiency, which is a high-priority area in the Lesj\u00f6fors Group\u2019s sustainability objectives. The newly gained space is necessary in order to cope with the increased business volumes and the growing requirements of process automation. By the end of 2021, Velleuer plans to move into the new building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cVelleuer has over the past years grown both in new customers and in existing customers who have broaden their business with us, which we see as a warranty that our offering to the market is what the customers want.
