Lesjöfors acquires Spiralspecialisten AB in Sweden
Spiralspecialisten started its operation in 1949 and is a stable and well performing operation within springs and pressings. The company has about 45 employees and yearly sales of around 45 Million SEK. Spiralspecialisten has a customer base of more than 1000 customers with more than 3000 different products manufactured every year.
The company will continue to operate as a separate legal entity and the current owners remain in the same positions as before. The acquisition will strengthen the possibilities for Spiralspecialisten via now being able to sell all the capabilities of the Lesjöfors Group as well as taking part of all the competence there is within the group.
“I am so glad that we got the opportunity to acquire this very good company which will strengthen our group further in particular on the Nordic market. Spiralspecialisten with its wide offering combined with the high level of knowhow and good reputation will complement our group in a good way” says Kjell-Arne Lindbäck, CEO of the Lesjöfors Group.
Hans Ewrelius, CEO, representing the sellers says “We feel confident to sell the company to a group specialized in springs and that we know will take good care of our company and personnel as well as adding new capabilities to the operation”.
The Lesjöfors Group continues its growth
Over the years, Lesjöfors has conducted a number of acquisitions and established strong platforms in the Nordic region, other areas of Europe, North America and Asia. Following the acquisition, Lesjöfors has 25 production units in 12 countries.
